Will I Know Him?

And if He was to come, would I know Him?

Would I recognize the Savior of the world?

Would it be plain to see?

Would it be plain to me?

I’d hate to be deceived,

Oh, tell me how would I know Him?

Would I ask for proof, a sign so I could know?

Would I be like the unbelievers long ago,

Who even as Christ hung upon the cross in agony, said,

“If Thou art God’s Son, save thyself!

“Yes, then we will believe!”

Is that me?

And when He comes, will I know Him?

Will I recognize the Savior of the world?

Will it be plain to see? Will it be plain to me?

Oh, will I know Him?

But even more – will He know me?
